Myron made his directorial debut by joining Supermodel, Producer, and Host Heidi Klum.  Filmed in Los Angeles, the dexterity of both contestants and crew was tested on this episode. The shoots original location was a luxurious poolside mansion overlooking the Los Angeles skyline. But when the skyline abruptly filled with smoke, embers cascading through the air and palm trees smoldering from the fires ravaging the city below, one thought echoed in everyone’s mind: “The show must go on!”

The Fire Marshal and producers decided that a “cover set” clear of the fires was the safest alternative. “After the cast and crew arrived, it was clear I had to come up with a new idea for the shoot.  I had to lean on instinct and improvise in the moment, and with the help of an experienced crew and production team, we did just that.” — Myron Parran

Revamping the direction from a luxurious poolside mansion to a gritty, urban industrial warehouse vibe still aligned with the lyrics of featured artist Brook Candy and highlighted the versatility of Heidi Klum. Their choreography and performances became the heart of Germany’s Next Topmodel Hip-Hop Edition. The models showcased not only their talent, but also their resilience and determination to perform under any circumstance.
